STEM Career Video Contest

Win a Flight on a North American AT-6 with the TITAN Aerobatic Team!

In the United States there is a shortage of people entering aviation and other STEM related fields.  From 2026-2035 STEM occupations in the U.S. are expected to grow at 3 times more than the average occupation.  More than 2 million of them will go unfilled because of the lack of highly skilled candidates.

We want you to create a commercial promoting one of these STEM career fields to people your age!

Grand Prize Winner

In addition to attending the Performer Reception, one grand prize winner (announced at the reception) will receive a ride with the TITAN Aerobatic team and VIP tickets to the Flight Line Club to see the performances up close.

Tickets to the Spirit of St. Louis Airshow and STEM Expo®


An Invitation for 2 to our Performer Reception the evening of June 5th

where they will have the opportunity to meet Blue Angels team members and other Air Show performers. The Grand Prize winner will be announced at this reception.

Make sure your commercial includes:

  • Topic - Clear STEM-related field
  • Description - Provides an accurate description of what a person in this career field does.
  • Importance - Explains why is this career field is important and why it is necessary that we have people go into this field.
  • Learn More - Tell your audience where they can go to learn more about this field
  • Make it Interesting - Appeals to young people (your peers) and makes them want to go learn more about this STEM field.

Possible STEM-related career fields (but does not have to be limited to this list) include:

Nurses Doctors Healthcare Specialists Information Technology  Software Developers Engineering  Mathematicians Statisticians  Data Scientists Accountants Aviation Maintenance Technicians Pilots Air Traffic Controllers

Guidlines:

Commercial should be no longer than 90 seconds.


Shoot your video with your camera facing upright (vertical).


AI material not eligible, all material must be original or have appropriate rights to use.


Highschool students Freshman - Seniors (minimum age 14) are eligible to enter.


Family members of the Spirit of St. Louis Air Show and STEM Expo® are ineligible.


Spirit of St. Louis Airshow and STEM EXPO® have the right to publish the names and videos of contest applicants.


All videos will be reviewed by the Spirit of St. Louis Airshow and STEM Expo® selection committee, comprised of experts in the STEM field, to determine winners.

Ways to Win:

Semi-finalists will receive tickets to the Spirit of St. Louis Airshow and STEM Expo®  and an invitation for 2 to our Performer Reception the evening of June 5th where they will have the opportunity to meet Blue Angels team members and other Air Show performers.   At the reception we will announce the Grand Prize winner who will receive a ride with the TITAN Aerobatic team and VIP tickets to the Flight Line Club to see the performances up close.
