Submit your writing to http://bit.ly/YoungAviationEnthusiasts by midnight Thursday, June 20. Fifteen finalists will selected from the submissions. If you need more time, entries can also be submitted before midnight August 6. Five additional submissions will be selected from that group. All 20 finalists will be invited to the Spirit of St. Louis Air Show & STEM Expo performers reception on Friday, Sept. 6, at 6:30 p.m., where the AeroShell pilots will announce four lucky winners to fly with them the morning of Saturday, Sept. 7, at Spirit of St. Louis Air Show. Finalists will be notified by August 20. Students ages 14-18 are eligible.
Family members of Spirit of St. Louis Air Show executive committee and key volunteers, as well as previous winners, are not eligible.
Winners will complete a liability waiver with parent’s signature prior to flying and must be able to climb in and out of the airplane unassisted and cannot exceed 250lbs. Submissions are the property of Spirit of St. Louis Air Show and may be used for promotional purposes.
