2019 Spirit of St. Louis Air Show & STEM Expo to Feature US Navy Blue Angels

CHESTERFIELD, Mo., Dec. 10, 2018 – The 2019 Spirit of St. Louis Air Show & STEM Expo, presented by Boeing, will be headlined by the US Navy Blue Angels in their made-in-Missouri Boeing F/A-18s.

“Coming off a successful 2019, we are thrilled the US Navy Blue Angels will be returning to St. Louis, September 7-8, 2019,” said John Bales, president of the Spirit of St. Louis Air Show committee and Spirit of St. Louis Airport director. “The 2019 event will celebrate our heroes in uniform, excite students towards the future of STEM, including aviation, and thrill attendees with amazing performances from historic and modern aircraft.”

The 2019 Spirit of St. Louis Air Show & STEM Expo, presented by Boeing, is scheduled for September 7-8. Tickets will go on sale in the spring of 2019. The event will be held at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport. Previous air shows have been held there in 2014, 2016 and 2018.

Additionally, as in 2018, all tickets will be sold online only.

“The return of the US Navy Blue Angles, combined with an amazing, inspiration STEM Expo and a celebration of our nation’s heroes, will make the 2019 event incredible, and we look forward to another great Spirit of St. Louis Air Show & STEM Expo, presented by Boeing,” Bales said.

The 2019 event will also feature the Aeroshell Aerobatic Team,, Skip Stewart, the F-22 Raptor Demo Team and Matt Younkin in a Beech 18. Additional details and performers will be announcing in the coming months. For more information visit www.spirit-airshow.com.
